Way over 2 million MkII Escorts where built, and the Harrier must be up there with some of the most special models such as the RS variants.
Only 1500 Harrier Escorts where produced and they where derived from the 1600 Sport.
What made the Harriers special was that they had Recaro seats, Rear spoiler and RS Alloy Wheels all fitted as extra.
The Escort Harriers all came in white and had a distinctive 3 line stripe down either side.
Silver was an optional extra, and its believed that around 500 where in silver
The Harrier also marked the end of a fantastic era of rear wheel drive as the Harrier was the last sporty special edition of the MkII’s, as the new Escort Mk III became front wheel drive.
